About helpingfriends.ca

categories: Uncategorized

Health problems are a fact of life as our population ages.

For self-employed people with no financial safety net or family assistance, disabling illness is made worse by the fear of running out of money.

Governments do not offer meaningful financial assistance until the sick have no assets and are literally destitute.

We have established helpingfriends.ca to provide basic necessities and ease the strain on self-employed people who have no other recourse.

Their plight could be ours.

Regular monthly donations are gratefully accepted. Larger singular donations will be kept in a reserve fund.

Helping Friends is a volunteer effort by local people with no administrative costs. All donations are given to the people who need them.
